We Are America, Inc.

1. Try-outs are open to all North Shore Residents
   
2. All contestants must be 8 years old or older on or before September 1, 2009
   
3. All minors (17 years old and younger) must be accompanied by a parent/guardian during try-outs
   
4. All contestants will be placed in one of the 5 age groups:
• 8-12 yrs old
• 13-17 yrs old
• 18-29 yrs old
• 30-59 yrs old
• 60 plus based on their age as of 9/1/2009
  
5. We Are America, Inc. reserves the right to adjust age catagories to even out the number of contestants in each age group.
   
6. All contestants must be prepared to sing two (2) songs.
   
7. Songs may be accompanied by a karaoke recording or sung a capella.
   
8. CD player and sound system will be available the day of try-outs. (CD's with vocals are not permitted)
   
9. If you are chosen to compete in Tanner City Idols, you will be contacted no later than Monday, June 2, 2009.
• Please note: if you are not chosen, you will not be contacted.
  
10.  Selected contestants must be available to rehearse 1 day a week with the exception of one vacation; period during the summer.
    
11.  Contestant selections are at the sole discretion of the Executive Director of We Are America, Inc.  All decisions are final.
